The Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip introduces a fundamentally different LED strip technology compared to standard color strips by implementing multiple independent color zones along a single 2-meter strip, enabling gradient color effects where the strip simultaneously displays different colors along its length — orange at one end transitioning through yellow to green at the other — creating the ambient immersion effect used by Philips Hue’s Gradient Lightstrip Ambilight TV backlight system. The 2-meter base strip can be extended to 10 meters using extension segments. The strip connects to the Hue Bridge ecosystem for full Hue app integration including room automation, dynamic effects, and Hue Sync desktop app synchronization with PC screen content for gaming and entertainment. Each meter contains 48 LEDs for smooth gradient transitions. The adhesive backing mounts to flat surfaces. The base brightness is 1600 lumens for the 2-meter segment. Requires Hue Bridge.
