The Hampton Bay 150W Equivalent LED Corn Bulb in E39 Mogul base provides 21,000 lumens of 5000K daylight illumination from a 150W LED driver, replacing 400–600W metal halide or high-pressure sodium bulbs in commercial and large-scale residential post lanterns, barn lights, street lights, and pole fixtures that use the E39 Mogul screw base. The corn cob LED configuration covers the full 360-degree circumference of the bulb with LED strips, providing omnidirectional light output appropriate for fixtures that depend on horizontal light distribution rather than the directional output of PAR and flood LEDs. The 50,000-hour rated lifespan at 12 hours per day operation provides over 11 years of continuous use before replacement, dramatically reducing maintenance costs relative to the 6,000–15,000-hour lifespans of the metal halide fixtures it replaces.
